FY FEIYUTECH Vimble 2 Unboxing and Early Review

Here is my unboxing and early look of the FY Feiyutech Vimble 2, it is a relatively inexpensive  Smartphone Gimbal that has surprising features you don’t normally see on a Stabilizer.

320 degree axis and a Mini Selfie Stick

Features you don’t normally see on other more expensive Gimbals?

  • Extension Rod that gives it a bit more range and acts as a mini Selfie Stick
  • 320 degree rotation on all axis (from Tilt, Pan, Roll), basically full range of motion
  • You can Charge your phone simulataneously

Vicool App?

  • Well, honestly, upon writing this article, I ditched the App, and just used the default camera App. The app is still unstable and lack features.

Facial Tracking is a miss

  • Well, the facial tracking feature here works only when the gimbal is stationary, like on a tripod. When it is handheld, it has difficulty keeping in frame, and the motors are a bit slow in reacting.

Plastic

  • Compared to DJI Osmo Mobile, the build on this is mostly plastic, well it is also expected considering the price.

Comes with Tripod

  • A welcome addition is that it has its own hard case and also a Tripod already included.
