the phone is dual sim and dual standby, which means you have 2 different signal indicators for both SIM (sim 1 and Sim 2). although, one sim is good only for GPRS, and the other sim card slot is for GPRS and WCDMA (3G)
you can synchronise your contacts, calendar, time, browser with outlook, Gmail, etc… it can be found on the setting
Yes, you can have several email accounts on the phone
I’m not so familiar with the whatsapp application sorry, im not currently using that.

both phones have almost the same specs except that the N9588 has dual core processor, which also means a much faster and smoother experience, although a bit more pricey than the dual core version, either way, both supports navigation.
