Leagoo KIICAA Mix Full Review – Not really Bezel less but a decent Budget Phone overall

The Leagoo KIICAA Mix is an Ultra Budget Phone that is also a Xiaomi Mi Mix Clone. Just pass the Tri Bezel Less advertising, and you have a decent Phone.

Not really Tri-Bezel less but a good overall Ultra-Budget Phone

The Leagoo KIICAA Mix is very similar to most budget Smartphones that advertised as Tri-Bezel-less, which is not really the case. But if you look pass that, then the phone is a decent Ultra Budget Smartphone. The screen is good, OS is clean and performance including gaming is also surprisingly decent. The camera also offers decent images especially on good lighting and connectivity and GPS works as it should. Probably my only major complaint is the lack of 3.5mm Audio Jack and the Audio not really impressive.

So, should you buy the phone? Well, it is really a no brainer, if you are on a tight budget, it should be one of your choice. But remember, don’t expect a lot of it.

Pros:

  • Decent screen quality and performance
  • Decent Camera for the price
  • Good 1080p IPS screen, rated to have Corning Gorilla Glass 4
  • Detected my 64 GB Kingston MicroSD
  • A lot of shooting modes available, definitely liked the Watermark and Filmstrip mode
  • Light weight at just $155g, well made
  • Clean OS and no bloatwares, updated also to fix bugs (FreemeOS, Android 7.0 Nougat)
  • Good Gaming Performance (Can really play games at 1080p on very playable fps)
  • Accurate Front Touch ID but not the fastest
  • Stable WiFi Performance (Wireless N)
  • 5 hours and 17 mins Battery Life (3000mAh, PCMark 2.0)
  • USB Type C, Quick Charger (5V 2A)

Cons:

  • Not really Tri-Bezel-less
  • No 3.5mm Audio Port
  • Audio Quality is average
  • Annoying Front Facing Camera Location
  • Old Stale design
