Ulefone introduces their affordable Mid-tier Smartphone that highlights a Premium All Metal Finish. The Ulefone Metal, according to Ulefone, the build and construction is one of it’s biggest plus, the video below shows it being compared to the iPhone 6s.
It is equipped with a Mid-tier Chipset, a Mediatek MT6753 Octa Core and a Mali-T720 Graphics chip. However, instead of a 1080p FHD display, it settles to a modest 720p HD display, which according to Ulefone performs much better especially paired with the Chipset. I do share this idea, as 1080p is proven to be too taxing for MT6753.
Speaking of the Display, it sports a 5.0 inch IPS 720p HD display with hardened glass by Corning Gorilla Glass 3
Furthermore, it also comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB eMMC storage to boot with support for storage expansion. It also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Ulefone UI.
You can check out below the Gaming Performance of the Smartphone.
Speaking of Camera Performance, it does offer a 13 megapixel Shooter with a Sony IMX149 CMOS sensor. Ulefone is also kind enough of showing the performance of the Camera, you can check out the performance below.
The innards holds a decent size 3050mAh, which I think is enough for the 5.0 inch device as well as a 720p HD display and Mid-tier chipset. It is expected to last a charge for a whole day of use, but this highly subjective and will depend on user preference. But the video below from Ulefone demonstrates just how long the battery can be with video playback compared to the iPhone 6s. It isn’t a complete cycle, but it will give you an idea of the performance of the Smartphone.
A Cheap Mid-tier Smartphone that offers more than compromises
The Ulefone Metal will probably be one of the favorite, especially for Budget Hunters. At a low price, you get a midranger that offers premium build quality, great performance, good battery life and features.
