Xaomi Redmi 5A – Ultra Budget Phone

The Xiaomi Redmi 5a is the successor to the 4a. It doesn’t really offer anything new, but it is Xiaomi’s cheapest phone currently available.  This is also the Global version, so a lot of bands are supported worldwide. The phone comes with a low end Snapdragon 425 chipset, which is good enough for most casual task only.

Sub$100 Smartphone

The Xiaomi Redmi 5a is probably the cheapest phone from Xiaomi. It is also the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 4a, but when you look at the specs, both are identical. I think the only difference is that, the 5A will ship out with Miui 9 at stock, and it has a slightly improved design but still plastic. Anyway, it is a practical phone that serves more for calls or text and not really for heavy multitasking or gaming. This phone I think is for those who are in a tight budget and luckily it is the Global version, which means a lot of bands are supported.
