Here is now my full review of the Xiaomi Mi A1, a Mid-end Smartphone that offers Dual Cameras and also the only phone from Xiaomi that comes with Android One. It offers a fresh new experience and googles OS on it makes it even better.
Android One makes it even better
Pure OS is impressive, offers a fresh new look and availability of Google’s latest Updates
Dual Camera Performance is above average especially on very good lighting.
Very good Battery Life
Strip down Video Mode on the camera, no IS (Image Stabilization)
Audio Quality from the Microphones still is questionable
If you are tired of Miui, then get this phone specifically for Android One
The Xiaomi Mi A1 is a decent Mid-End Smartphone, which doesn’t really offer a whole lot compared to other Mid-rangers in the market. But what it gives is Android One, frankly offers consistent updates and also guarantees you to future Android releases. The OS overall is fast, stable, no issues whatsoever and offers everything google or Android has in store.
More so, the phone is also decent. 9 hours battery life, excellent dual Band wireless connectivity, accurate GPS and impressive performance and gaming, makes this one of the best value Midranger of 2017.
Dual Camera impressive on Good Lighting
The Dual Camera performance is also great, especially when used on good lighting. Honestly, photos come out close to the performance of the Xiaomi Mi 6, especially in Bokeh or Portrait mode. But low light, isn’t one of its strengths. Anyway, would I recommend this phone? Yes, 100% this is a great budget phone and Android One just makes it even better.
