The ZTE Axon International version is really one Monstrous Flagship. Equipped with the latest Snapdragon 810, Dual Rear Cameras, NFC, Fingerprint ID Support. It seems, ZTE didn’t skip on the handset, the Axon is ZTE’s most powerful and also best looking Flagship ever. Priced below $500, it’s cheaper than other top tier Smartphones in the market but offers more to the table. It’s closes rival, the OnePlus Two rests only at $390 and maybe it’s closes competition.
The handset has a Unibody Design and has better Thermal Efficiency, which allows the device to dissipate heat efficiently and keeping the device cool even on heavy use. Probably a good choice considering the powerful processor underneath.
Furthermore, the handset is the first to be equipped with Dual Rear Cameras. Specifically, a 13 megapixel camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor at the back capable of 2K video recording, along this as a 2 MP Omnivision Camera, these cameras use Dual LED Flash and ZTE has boasted, that it will be a great contender for the best Smartphone Shooter in the market today.
The phone also comes built in with a number of notable features, namely NFC Support, Fingerprint Scanner and ID, and Eye and Voice Recognition built in. In terms of connectivity, the ZTE Axon International version, supports multiple 4G LTE (FDD-LTE) frequencies, which means, it will readily support carriers worldwide. The Dual SIM support or Hybrid DualSIM, wherein one sim can act as MicroSD Slot.
Powering this power hungry Flagship is also a 3000mAh built-in battery with Fast Charging Support. ZTE claims 60% charged in just 30 mins. Also battery performance, which users (heavy users) have not been too please about. Performance is rather unexceptional, but this understandable especially with the powerful CPU and Quad HD Display.
Overall, worth mentioning, the ZTE Axon is a must have phone, if you’re looking for a very solid Flagship device, and don’t want to spend a fortune, then the Axon is probably the best phone to have. However, it does face stiff competition with its closes but cheaper rival, the OnePlus Two. Although the specs might not be that similar, the OnePlus Two offers attractive options and a cheaper price tag. But the ZTE Axon excels in style, and Features (clumped up) on such a powerful device.
Note: ZTE Axon US version is different from the Chinese Version.
